Goodreads Monday – Gunslinger Girl by Lyndsay Ely

Hello All!!!

I am back on posting regularly. Monday is all about Goodreads Monday, where you show off a random book selected from your TBR pile. This lovely meme is hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners

This book has been in my TBR pile for some time. I loved the story, but decided to read it after all the hype that was created in the blogosphere itself. I saw so many great reviews and ratings and thought that, I should read it. So here it is;

Seventeen-year-old Serendipity “Pity” Jones inherited two things from her mother: a pair of six shooters and perfect aim. She’s been offered a life of fame and fortune in Cessation, a glittering city where lawlessness is a way of life. But the price she pays for her freedom may be too great….
In this extraordinary debut from Lyndsay Ely, the West is once again wild after a Second Civil War fractures the U.S. into a broken, dangerous land. Pity’s struggle against the dark and twisted underbelly of a corrupt city will haunt you long after the final bullet is shot. (from Goodreads)

SERENDIPITY, I really wanted to know more about her. What is given to her in life seems really thrilling to read. Very much looking forward to reading this one. Of course there will be a review, once I finished reading it.

Wish me luck!!!

Until next post,
