Purchasing books is one of the most favorite things that I love doing. Recently I have completely stopped buying physical books, due to the lack of storage space. Instead of buying physical books I have started to buy eBooks and today is no difference. I bought myself another a lovely read via Amazon. Let’s talk about it.
This book was actually on Kindle book deals and cost me only $0.99, which is totally amazing.
You are the Best Friend by Ajay K. Pandey
Is it a happy ending for Ajay this time around?
Ajay has lost his wife and is deep in depression. No amount of medication or therapy seems to help him as he struggles with his grief. He has only one wish—he wants to immortalize his wife.
Then, he meets Anisha, who is shocked at Ajay’s hatred towards God. How can a person hate God? Where would that hatred lead him? Anisha is ready to judge Ajay harshly, when a simple, caring and guileless gesture changes her perception of him.
So begins the journey of two people who are poles apart. A journey which will change their outlook towards life.
A bittersweet tale, told very simply, by a man who lost everything, except his ability to find humour in the world. This is the story of Ajay who finds a second lease of life. What helps him? A friend? Or the love that he finds again?
Bestselling author Ajay Pandey takes you on another emotional rollercoaster with his scintillating new book that will reaffirm your faith in life. (from Goodreads)
What I feel about the Book (before I read it)
I have always been a huge fan of Indian authors and when I saw this book on Kindle book deals for just $0.99, I checked out the synopsis and did a bit of research about the author.
After reading the synopsis, I felt that it was a totally my type of book. Loosing the love of your life will definitely put any person into a terrible state of mind. I think that desperation made Ajay to try to bring his wife back to life. I think book highlights human emotions towards death of loved one and coping and facing life afterwards. Ajay will be struggling to face life without his wife and the synopsis talks about him hating God. Ajay’s desperation, depression and attempt to find his life back, I think makes an amazing story.
Honestly, now I am desperate to start reading this wonderful book 🙂 🙂 🙂 There will be review one I finish reading it.
Hope you enjoyed!
