My current reading status…

Hello All!!!

Welcome to my blog, on this lovely Sunday. As you might have already noted, I have not done a TBR post for the month of September, because I have not yet totally decided on, what I should be reading. My thoughts are swirling and I am unable to pick up one exact book from my TBR pile. So, being said that, I thought it is better not to have a precise TBR post for September.

These are the books that I am currently reading;

The Biography of Adele is my very first experience in reading one. I am so glad that I chose this book, because her story is completely inspiring me.

The second book is Celebrity chef zombie apocalypse by Jack D. McLean. I received  this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review, and the review will be up soon.

Next is what I have in line in my TBR. I have way too many books in my TBR pile, and day by day it is going pretty crazy. But I am sure I will be able to sort it out. Blood crescent by S.M. McCoy is what I am planning to read next.

I have already completed reading the following books;

39333389   17860621

That is all it folks for today. I am planning to write to my blog more frequently in the coming weeks. Also, trying my best to reach my reading goals for the month of September.

Until next post,

What is Happening??? Update & Sharing two great Books!!!

Hello All!!!

It has been terrible week for me. Due to many reasons and being busy, made me write less for my blog. And finally here I am just with a post to update about the first week of July and my reading progress.

Up to now, I have read 45 books and currently reading the following wonderful books. I am sharing two of the books with you, actually I think you should try these books out.

Better than This by C.G.Coppola

40057241Autumn Sommers wants to forget what happened on the bus. It’s been three years, but avoiding Alex Wolf has become standard, especially since everyone knows about his sketchbook—and the drawings of her inside. The incident followed them from junior-high and now, in their sophomore year, the two have been paired on a project.

Autumn just wants to get through it. She needs to maintain her grades to keep her terrible Aunt Milly from moving back in, but working with Alex might be impossible since they have to pretend to be a couple for their assignment. Forced to put their past on hold, the two focus on their fictitious relationship until the lines between real and fake get blurred, and they discover there might be some truth to the façade. But things have changed since seventh grade. Alex has a secret, and it could mean the end of their new friendship…and more.

After everything they’ve been through, Autumn isn’t sure she can go back to the way it was. With their project—and her heart—on the line, she’ll need to prepare for whatever happens, even if it means a return to silence with the boy she wants the most. (from Goodreads)

I am about to finish reading this book. Love the story very much. Thanking the author for sending me the eBook to me. The review will be up soon.

Dietland by Sarai Walker

The diet revolution is here. And it’s armed.

Plum Kettle does her best not to be noticed, because when you’re fat, to be noticed is to be judged. Or mocked. Or worse. With her job answering fan mail for a popular teen girls’ magazine, she is biding her time until her weight-loss surgery. Only then can her true life as a thin person finally begin.

Then, when a mysterious woman starts following her, Plum finds herself falling down a rabbit hole and into an underground community of women who live life on their own terms. There Plum agrees to a series of challenges that force her to deal with her past, her doubts, and the real costs of becoming “beautiful.” At the same time, a dangerous guerrilla group called “Jennifer” begins to terrorize a world that mistreats women, and as Plum grapples with her personal struggles, she becomes entangled in a sinister plot. The consequences are explosive.

Dietland is a bold, original, and funny debut novel that takes on the beauty industry, gender inequality, and our weight loss obsession—from the inside out, and with fists flying. (from Goodreads)

A different kind of a story. Really opened my eyes towards a different aspect of life. Review will be up soon.

These are just two of the books that I am currently reading. Cruel Prince and A single journey are the other two. What are your thoughts and ideas about these books? Have you read these books? Do let me know.

Until next post,
